Our second home match of the season kicked off under good weather conditions. A bit of rain before the game softened the pitch just enough to make it playable without being too hard. A solid squad of 17 warriors took to the field to face the strong team from Bad Reichenhall.

The game didn’t start in our favor—a penalty in the first minute (oops!) handed the visitors an early lead at 0–3. What followed was 20 minutes of intense rugby: massive tackles, powerful scrums, and a flurry of penalties from both sides, but no further points. It wasn’t until the 26th minute that Bad Reichenhall managed to break through with a try, quickly followed by another. We went into halftime trailing 0–15.

After the break, the momentum shifted. Stefan bulldozed his way through the defense to score a fantastic try. Soon after, super subs Eugen and Alex came onto the pitch. Alex, clearly in try-scoring mode, added another to bring the score to 12–29 and lift our spirits.

With renewed energy and great teamwork, our backs had a standout performance, and our scrums and lineouts were sharp. Mike and Antonio each scored brilliant tries, bringing us within reach. Unfortunately, the clock wasn’t on our side—had we had just a few more minutes, the comeback might’ve been complete! Still, we walked away with a valuable Bonus Point for scoring four tries.
