Our second away match of the season took us to Ravensburg to face the always tough SG Ulm 1/Ravensburg. With a strong turnout of 20 players making the trip, the atmosphere was already positive. Add to that perfect weather conditions, and we were set for an exciting Saturday afternoon of rugby.

And what a start it was! Within the first five minutes, Vorarlberg asserted their physical dominance, scoring two quick tries courtesy of Marcos and Antonio. Not long after, Tom joined the party with a fantastic solo try. At that point, the Ländle boys were flying high with a 21–0 lead.

The game soon turned into a fierce battle—especially in the scrums, where Ulm showed their strength and taught us a few lessons. The forwards gave it their all in what turned into a war of attrition on the pitch. Ulm began to find their rhythm and put points on the board, but thanks to our team’s discipline, patience, and solid execution, Vorarlberg always stayed ahead.

The final whistle blew with the scoreboard showing 35–26 in our favor. Both Antonio and Marcos secured a brace (two tries each), and Yannick was flawless with the boot—100% kicking accuracy, huge congrats! A special shoutout to Hans, who earned Man of the Match, and to Giacomo, whose impeccable defense saved us more than once.

Massive thanks to the referee, our loyal supporters who traveled to Ravensburg, and of course to SG Ulm 1/Ravensburg 1 for a thrilling and hard-fought match. It was a great day of rugby!
