 A fantastic Saturday afternoon at Sportplatz Rote Erde saw a massive turnout of players, all ready to give 110% to secure our first victory of 2026. As always, RFC Bad Reichenhall proved to be a tough opponent, promising a match defined by heavy collisions and clinical backline play.
 The warm-up set the tone: focused, calm, and mentally prepared to strike first. The match began with brutal intensity. Both defenses were impeccable, with physicality and focus on point as neither side was willing to concede an inch. It wasn't until the final minute of the first half that the deadlock broke; Antonio delivered a signature fly-half try, sending us into the break with a narrow 7–0 lead.

Following a halftime talk focused on discipline—specifically reducing penalties and simplifying our positioning—the team knew the first five minutes of the second half would be vital. Despite a sudden little rain, we started with a bang. Marcos sliced through the defense for an incredible solo try to make it 14–0. Yannick was in clinical form, maintaining a 100% conversion rate throughout the day.

The game then opened up. Bad Reichenhall fought back with a converted try and a penalty, narrowing the gap to 14–10. However, Cris halted their momentum, crashing through the defense from the back to extend our lead to 21–10. As the match shifted to uncontested scrums, it became a war of clashes and tackles.

Chris amused us with a brace, what a match from our Irish player. Then Mike, who came as a super sub, seal the match with a 35 - 15. 100% convesion rate from Yannick, congrats for that.
 A huge shoutout to Filippo and Jannis on their club debuts! It’s great to have you in the squad. We also wish Luke a speedy recovery—we hope to see you back on the pitch soon!
