On a cold Saturday morning, the pitch was being prepared for a new rugby match: Vorarlberg vs Augsburg. There was an unexpected snowfall earlier in the week, but the draining of the pitch was on point, it was a signal that the match was going to be a muddy one. The home team looked great, 20 players signed to try secure the fourth victory on a row.

The match opened pretty quick. Taking advantage of a distracted ruck, Antonio executed a brilliant "tap and go" to open the scoring. With Yannick clinical as ever from the tee, we took an early 7–0 lead. The next 15 minutes, the team got distracted, the opposite team took the opportunity and scored two consecutive tries: 7-10. After some team conversation, the team found the regularity and focused on the victory.

Two tries in a row for Vorarlberg, from Antonio and Sinner, make the result go in our way: 21 - 10. The half time was closed with a new try from Augsburg and a yellow card to our team. We went to the half pause 21 - 15, with 14 players. The half time message was clear: stay simple, stay disciplined, and seal the deal.

And what a returning to the pitch it was. In 20 minutes, 5 tries. Max with an incredible run. Stefan crashing all the opponent defence. Antonio completing his hat-trick. Marcos eluding all the opponents and Stefan with a try from the line-out, made Vorarlberg 49 - 15. After that, another yellow card to our team, too many offsides during the match costs us this. Augsburg took the opportunity and got their bonus point, 49 - 22.

Last ten minutes were full with action. Marcos scored again a signature try, followed by one by Filippo, tagged as “forward try”. Congrats on your first try for the team, hope to see lots more coming! Then, in the last minute, Hans finished the match powering through the defence to finalise a staggering 73–29 victory.  Shoutout to all Vorarlberg players for this amazing win. The Man of the Match: Stefan. Hammer of the day: Sinner. And we will omit the indiscipline prize, let’s work on not having one for the next game! Congrats on the first try of Filippo and the 9 conversions of Yannick, what a precision!
